Laugh!

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.  Psalm 126:2

 

Find the humor in the circumstances that surround you today!  Don’t laugh AT somebody – laugh WITH them!  Laugh at yourself!  Give thanks to God for a happy heart!  Are you a serious person who doesn’t find it easy to see the humor?  Ask God to show you!  Laughter is good for your heart and soul!

Think About It!

Wouldn’t you rather look into someone’s eyes and see joy rather than sorrow, anger or sadness?  Do you feel better when someone is smiling at you, or when they are grumping at you?  Today, take the joy of the Lord and show it to everyone you meet with a smile on your face!  Give someone’s heart a Great Big Boost!

Are You Prepared?

Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

 1 Peter 5:8

 

How many times have you heard someone say “Oh, it doesn’t matter” when it comes to doing something that isn’t pleasing to God?  I hear those words all the time, especially from teens and parents who want to give their teens what they want.  Please Be Careful!  Satan is like a cockroach – he can slide between the smallest crack and make himself at home!  Don’t allow your kids to watch movies and TV that isn’t God pleasing!  Don’t give them books to read that teach immoral behavior!  Take them places that build them up!  Help them gain self confidence that comes from the love of God!  Help them find their purpose in this life and then, help them soar!  God loves them SO much!  Help them feel it!

Are You Willing?

Forgive as the Lord forgave you.  Colossians 3:13

 

In this day, how many grudges do you carry?  It’s easy to tell someone that God forgives them, however, have you forgiven others as He has forgiven you?  Are you willing to forgive someone even though they haven’t proven that they deserve it?  You don’t have to like what they have done, but you need to forgive it.  Don’t let your energy be drained by holding onto something that is dragging you down and isn’t pleasing to God!  Give others the same kind of love that He so willingly gives to you – No Matter What!

What a privilege to serve the King of ALL Kings!  What can YOU do in this day?  Whether your work is large or small – do it for Jesus!  Humbly stand before Him and ask what you can do.  Listen carefully as He speaks to you!  Use your hearts to hear His words!  Whatever He asks of you, prayerfully consider His requests and be willing to step out in faith!

Go and Tell!

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations.  Matthew 24:14

 

So many Christians believe they have to go on a missionary trip to another nation in order to witness for our God – not true!  There are many who don’t know Jesus Christ right here in our own nation!  You may have a family member who doesn’t believe – show them what the Lord is doing in your life by your actions and your kind words!  Don’t preach at them!  You may have a neighbor who hasn’t been to church or who doesn’t seem to care.  Invite them to church or a special church function!  What about the teens in your life?  Your youth group might just be the perfect place for them to feel accepted and wanted.  You don’t have to look far to find someone in need of the love that Jesus Christ is giving away for FREE!  Keep your eyes open and be ready to serve Him!
